The Tinamba Hotel was first Established In 1874, over the years there has been many changes, The Schoenmaeker family
purchased the business from Eric & Carol Whelan in 1987 and added the large function room and renovated the bistro.
The Hotel stayed in the family until 2009 when Brad Neilson & Damien Gannon purchased it. Brad & Damien both were
Brad and Damienborn and raised in Gippsland. Brad born in Traralgon and Damien in Tinamba.
They owned Neilsons Restaurant in Traralgon, which they sold early in 2008. After a short stint in St Kilda, they returned to Tinamba, taking over the Hotel in May 2009 and immediately closed it for renovations.
After 3 months of hard work, the Hotel re-opened on August 22 2009
